It seems like part of me wants to become a landscape painter. If that is true, it is by accident. This scene is an area that I have always loved and wished I could buy and build just one house on it and leave the rest as it is. I believe the only reason I painted this scene is because I could not get the image out of my head. As I said - I have always loved this area - but it wasn't until I stood on a treadmill at a physical therapy center across the road and stared at it for a couple of months that it become a scene that needed to be a painting. (just a note - this land is slated to become a town center - developed to the max)
