The Daydream

The working title for this piece was "Housework Sucks". That was the message I was trying to convey - the housewife, trapped in the drudgery of the weekly or daily chore by entangling her leg with the vacuum cord, as she looks outward to, what looks like a lovely day. I painted this because I had no figurative pieces and I was invited to participate in a figurative show, in a local gallery.
