Survival

Again, going back to times prehistoric, we need to feed our families as well as ourselves. There is nothing wrong with that. A useful death allowing another higher up on the food chain to survive. It is natural. Inventions and improvements have enabled us to kill more efficiently. Now, we have tools that enable us to kill the wrong things more efficiently - we have gone too far or focused on the wrong result. Now, it is about power for the sake of power. The bullet sits on a mirror - let's take a good look at ourselves.
