Self Portrait

This painting is an attempt to get a painting of a human figure without insulting anyone. I feel I accomplished my goal - I am not insulted.  Further, I wanted to replicate the lighting I have seen on a lot of television shows.  Mostly, they are dramas and they light the subject from both sides leaving the vague part in the middle.  I thought it looked interesting and I needed something to paint and this was it.
