Fear Yourself

The idea for this painting developed over a period of time. I wanted to do a self portrait without the mustache I always wear. I also had a health experience that showed me a side of myself that I was unaware of. I also know that I look just like my father (now that I am older) without my facial hair and maybe that is why I have the mustache in the first place. So, that and more is in this painting. It is also larger that I normally paint (an interesting experience).
