Adamsville Barns
This painting is sold
One day, late in the summer I was looking for something different to paint, to get me away from the complex work I had been doing. I took several photographs and this is the only one that piqued my interest. The farm looks kind of deserted. I didn’t see any movement around. I liked that the view was “approachable” but vacant. I also liked the way the barns just spring up; as if someone just needed more space and next week there was a new building. Also, the smaller building in the foreground looks to me to be a sugar shack. So there is a whole building that only gets used for 2 months in the spring.
Medium: Acrylic paint on canvas
Not yet framed
Size: 16" x 20"
Price: $350.00 (Price does not include applicable sales tax or shipping)
